Cold Tonight...A Little Warmer Friday...Rain Saturday

High pressure made for sunny skies and very cold temperatures with low wind values behind a departing cold front. There will be some clouds moving in tonight but temperatures will still be very cold. Friday will be mostly cloudy and a little warmer with rain showers along with possible freezing rain and snow at times moving in over the weekend.

Tonight, skies will be mostly cloudy and it will stay dry. The overnight low temperature will drop to a very cold 7 degrees although winds should be light. Friday will be mostly cloudy and dry ahead of the next approaching storm system. The high temperature will make it to 34 degrees.

The weekend will start out with freezing rain or snow showers that will change over to rain as a warm front moves through the region on Saturday. The high temperature will make it to a mild 62 degrees. Sunday will be cloudy with rain showers that could change over to snow late. The high temperature will drop to 40 degrees.

Monday will be mostly sunny and dry as high pressure moves back in over the region. The high temperature will drop to 36 degrees. Tuesday will be partly cloudy and dry with the high temperature warming to 42 degrees. Wednesday will be partly cloudy and dry ahead of the next approaching cold front. The high temperature will make it to 51 degrees. Thursday will be cloudy with rain showers that may change to snowflakes late as the cold front moves through the region. The high temperature will make it to 54 degrees in the warmer air ahead of the front. Friday will be partly cloudy and dry as high pressure moves in over the region behind the departing cold front. The high temperature will drop to 40 degrees.

The next weekend will start out with partly cloudy skies along with dry conditions on Christmas Eve Day Saturday. The high temperature will warm to 49 degrees. Christmas Day Sunday will be cloudy with rain showers as the next cold front moves in. The high temperature will warm to 55 degrees.

Saturday: Cloudy with freezing rain and snow showers changing early to rain. High 62 degrees.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy and dry. High 42 degrees.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy and dry. High 51 degrees.

Thursday: Cloudy with rain showers that could change to snow late. High 54 degrees.

Friday: Partly cloudy and dry. High 40 degrees.

Christmas Eve Day Saturday: Partly cloudy and dry. High 49 degrees.

Christmas Day Sunday: Cloudy with rain showers. High 55 degrees.
