Traveling Vest Virginia
2013 Year In Review
Traveling Back In Time

Hard to believe another year of "Traveling West Virginia" has come and gone, but 2013 was memorable for many reasons.

From a lighthouse to a movie set, stand up paddle boarding to mountain tops, air boats to llama farms, this year was one of the best yet.

Believe it or not, I even went on a Big Foot hunt.(We didn't find a "Squatch") One of the coolest and most useful tools came into its own this year -- the GoPro camera. I was able to utilize it and get shots that simply would have been impossible without it. Thanks to the boss for approving that purchase.

God has truly blessed me with a career and a passion to bring these stories to our viewers every week, and meet such wonderful folks around the Mountain State, my home, West Virginia. I urge everyone to hit the road and see what our state has to offer, I'm always amazed at what I find, and it never gets old.

Enjoy this look back on 2013, and who knows -- maybe I'll see you on the road in 2014. You can follow me on Twitter @TravelingWVWCHS to see where I'm headed next.
