Traveling Vest Virginia
Hollow Creek
Movie Making In The Mountain State

EYEWITNESS ONLINE WEBCAST VIDEO

West Virginia is fast becoming a movie making hot spot. Recent films like "We Are Marshall", "Super 8" and "Angel's Perch", were all shot shot here in Wild Wonderful West Virginia. Now comes a new feature called "Hollow Creek" that began production in late 2012 and will wrap up in the summer of 2013. Seeking inspiration for his latest horror novel, a New York writer retreats to a remote cabin in the Appalachian mountains accompanied by his secret lover. A twist of fate turns the romantic interlude into an abduction murder case when the writer's lover mysteriously goes missing and he becomes the prime suspect. Writer and director Guisela Moro fell in love with the area and it's scenic locations when she came to pick up her Newfoundland puppy in Wyoming County. "It could have been shot anywhere else" says Moro, "...but we chose this area just because I fell in love with it".
