 Traveling West Virginia 2012 Looking Back At 2012

It's been another amazing year of Traveling West Virginia -- researching, planning, driving, shooting, more driving, and editing these weekly stories is challenging but so rewarding. I have met so many wonderful people over the years, and been able to see and document so much of our beautiful state. What a blessing! 2012 brought many changes professionally and personally. Our daughter graduated from high school and moved away to college, we began shooting and broadcasting in high definition here at Eyewitness News and our chief photographer Larry Clark has spent several months on medical leave. In Larry's absence, I have been "acting" chief. I have learned firsthand that you never truly know how much a person does until he is not around and those responsibilities fall to you. No one has taught me more than Larry about television and shooting video, and his shoes are simply impossible to fill here on a daily basis. So I'm dedicating this look back at 2012 to Larry.
