After his divorce, Walt Lewis of Huntington wanted to get away. With a lifetime passion for cooking, he began searching for a location to relax and learn some local cuisine. Lewis ended up in Oaxaca, Mexico and quickly realized there were shops on every corner stone grinding fresh chocolate, and brewing amazing hot chocolate. "In America there's a Starbucks on every corner," says Lewis "in Mexico, it's all about the chocolate, I thought, why don't we have these in America?" After several return trips to Mexico to learn the craft, Walt opened Chiammaya Chocolate and has never looked back. Offering three separate grades of chocolate, Walt takes great pride in using only the best and freshest ingredients, the result is a truly unique and delicious brew sure to satisfy your sweet tooth!
