What an awesome year 2011 has been for Traveling West Virginia! I have met some amazing people, and seen so many new things. What an honor and a blessing it has been to bring these stories to light for our viewers. This marks my 14th year of shooting and editing Traveling West Virginia for Eyewitness News. Folks often ask if I'll ever run out of ideas for stories. My simple answer is NEVER! While I do a fair amount of research, several of the stories come from dedicated viewers, and even individuals who've been featured before. I love the intentional connections that the people of West Virginia maintain!

God has blessed me with a career that I love, in the most beautiful state, almost heaven, West Virginia. My sincerest thanks to everyone who has allowed me to enter their world for a few hours, and give our viewers a brief glimpse of the best folks on earth, West Virginians. It's always been, and continues to be a great ride. I'll see you down the road.
