![]() P.J. Berry's A New Eatery In A Historic Building
Built in the 1890's by the Berry brothers, the building located at 226 Main Street in Sutton, West Virginia has gone through many changes and owners for over 100 years. Known locally as PJ Berry's, the building has housed everything from a Ben Franklin business, a thrift store, a tobacco shop and a grocery store. Owner Lex DeGruyl and manager RayDeNuzzo purchased the building, gave it an extreme makeover, and PJ Berry's was reborn, this time as a restaurant offering elegant, casual dining in a newly renovated bar and dining area. The response in Sutton and the surrounding area has been nothing short of extraordinary, with a full house practically every evening. Gourmet dining, casual atmosphere, and an affordable menu has given PJ Berry's a great reputation in a short amount of time. "It has filled a void for so many people" says DeGruyl, "Sutton has needed a place like this for such a long time."
