Watoga State Park is located in the beautiful mountains of Pocahontas County West Virginia, just 14 miles south of Marlinton. The park consists of 10,100 acres filled with a multitude of recreational activities including hiking, swimming, fishing and boating. There is something for everyone to enjoy at Watoga State Park.
Folks may not think of visiting Watoga in the cold winter months, but the historic cabins at the park are available for rental beginning in January, offering a unique opportunity for patrons to experience the mountains of West Virginia in quiet, peaceful solitude.
