Launched in April of 1989, The current Valley Gem Stern Wheeler has been providing relaxing daily cruises, Saturday dinner cruises, and special occasion excursions for 20 years. Owned and operated by captain J.J. Sands and his wife Katie, The Valley Gem plies the Ohio River from May through October. The boat is perfect for weddings, receptions, reunions and meetings while offering a place where people can relax and enjoy spectacular scenery, riverboat hospitality, and each other.
