Serafino Nolletti has been making pasteries for as long as he can remember, in fact he recalls needing a stool to reach the table in his father's bakery. Today he carries on his family's life work in downtown Logan at City Bakery. Serafino starts everyday at 3:30am mixing dough for donuts, bread, cakes, pies, and cookies. The people of Logan would be lost in the morning without their box of fresh, warm, City Bakery donuts. No assembly lines here, everything is still made by hand, fresh, every day.
