Welcome to Weakest Link, the show that is taking the world by storm 5 DAYS A WEEK.

Six contestants stand on a semicircle around host George Gray. They come to the Weakest Link as strangers but must work as a team to reach the maximum prize money. At the end of each round, contestants vote to eliminate the fellow competitor they deem to be the weakest link in the chain. In the fifth round, the remaining contestants have a chance to double the bank.

The contestants battle each other, the clock and our host, George Gray, in a trivia contest to see who is the "Strongest Link." In this half-hour format, the contestants play as a team in five rounds of rapid-fire questions. Every time they get a question right, more money is added to the pot. Every time you get a question wrong, the pot goes down to zero. Smart players apply the strategy of BANKING to win as much prize money as possible. However, only one contestant will walk away with the money.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A ROUND?
Each player is asked a 'general knowledge' question, working clockwise around the circle of contestants. The goal in a round is for a team to answer enough questions correctly to reach the money target within the time limit. Each round ends when the players run out of time or they reach the money target for that round.

HOW DO YOU BUILD A CHAIN?
Imagine that every correct answer is another link on the chain. AND, each new correct answer greatly increases the value of the chain. If you get a question wrong you break the chain. If you break the chain, your team loses the entire value of the chain, and your team must start building a new chain, starting at zero. But if you say the work "BANK" before your question is asked, the money is safe and you start a brand new chain, from zero.

HOW DO YOU REACH THE MONEY TARGET?
The value of each question rises as the team turns in consecutive correct answers. There are six players, so the fastest way to reach the target is to create a chain of six correct answers. OR, you can hit the target by stringing together several smaller chains. Remember, at the end of each round, only money that has been BANKED can be carried over to the next round.

MORE ON BANKING:
At the end of every round, the player voted as the Weakest Link will be eliminated and will leave the game empty handed. That's right, they will leave with NOTHING!

MORE ON VOTING STRATEGY:
In the Final Round the two players left standing battle it out head-to-head in a best of three shootout until one person wins. The other leaves with nothing, yes, nothing.
