Jacque Kessler Court Reporter on Judge Joe Brown ![]() Jacque Kessler, who serves as the court reporter on Judge Joe Brown, utilizes her years of experience as a journalist to summarize each case for the audience and then interview the litigants after the verdict is made. Born in New Jersey, Kessler moved with her family several times during her youth before finally settling in Albuquerque, New Mexico during her high school years. After graduating, she enrolled at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces where she earned a degree in broadcast journalism. Kessler began working as a reporter at the NBC affiliate in El Paso, Texas after completing an internship with the station. She later returned to Albuquerque to become the anchor of the weekend news broadcast and worked as a reporter throughout the week. She successfully juggled working in New Mexico and taping Judge Joe Brown segments in Hollywood during the show's first season, but Kessler relocated to Los Angeles for year two of the series, to concentrate full-time on her role as the show's court reporter. When she's not working, Kessler enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as traveling.
