WVU Throttles ECU

West Virginia made quick work out of East Carolina on it's home opener scoring touchdowns on their first five possessions and coasting to a 56-20 win at Mountaineer Field. Will Grier threw for 352 yards and five touchdown passes- three of those TD receptions made by David Sills V. WVU held a 49-3 lead at halftime. It was the highest scoring first half for the Mountaineers since the Orange Bowl following the 2011 season when WVU scored 49 points against Clemson in the first half en route to a 70-33 win over the Tigers.
