WVU Basketball: Huggins says Gonzaga has been good for quite some time

West Virginia meets Gonzaga on Thursday in San Jose for the right to move on in the NCAA Tournament.

West Virginia is 0-3 against Gonzaga.

All three losses have come during Bob Huggins' successful run as WVU's head coach.

Huggins and his Mountaineers will try to earn that first win over the Spokane, Washington-based school on Thursday night in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16.

The two square off at 7:30 inside the SAP Center of San Jose.

Gonzaga enters as the top seed in the tournament's West Region with a 34-1 record.

Huggins isn't surprised with what kind of team the Bulldogs bring to San Jose.
