NFL Draft: It's Philadelphia Freedom for WVU's Rasul Douglas
In the City of Brotherly Love - home to the 2017 NFL Draft, WVU's Rasul Douglas finally heard his name called.
And it will be right there in Philly, where great cheese steaks rule the day, where he gets his opportunity at the next level of football.
The Mountaineer cornerback, who tied for the FBS lead in interceptions last season with eight, was taken by the Eagles toward the end of Round 3.
Douglas, the 99th player chosen in the three-day draft, should feel right at home having grown up in East Orange, NJ.
In addition to his interceptions, the junior college product collected 70 tackles this past season and recorded a sack.
The NFL Draft resumes on Saturday with the final four rounds.
