Cottrell Wins Big 12 Championship; Smith Inured

Roane County's Dylan Cottrell became the first Mountaineer Wrestler to ever win a Big 12 Wrestling Championship with his 5-4 decision over Oklahoma State's Chandler Rogers Sunday. His teammate and fellow West Virginian Jake Smith was injured on a takedown by OSU's Preston Weigel in the first period and is forced to settle for runner up. According to Smith's mom he broke his fibula.
