WV Power (Game 90): Shutout time for Power over Grasshoppers

Hunter Owen drilled a two-run homer on Monday night in helping propel the West Virginia Power to a 4-0 win over Greensboro.

The West Virginia Power had struggled in their recent homestand with only one win through five games.

Fortunately, things ended on a strong note Monday night as the Power record a 4-0 shutout over the Greensboro Grasshoppers.

For a second consecutive game, the Power's Hunter Owen blasted a home run. This one with a man on. That blast in the sixth gave the Power a 2-0 lead.

The win improved the Power to 10-14 in the second half of the season and 40-50 overall.

The Power will be off Tuesday before a three-game set with Kannapolis begins Wednesday on the road.

The Power will be back at home on Saturday with Lexington invading.
