The West Virginia Power record is now 0-6 in the young 2017 season.

But it's not for a lack of effort.

For a third straight time, the Power went extra innings on Tuesday evening.

The win, though, went in favor of the visitors.

The power lost to Rome and Asheville in back-to-back 11-inning games on Sunday and Monday.

On Tuesday after ending at 3-3 through nine, Asheville scored the winning run in the top of the 10th for the victory.

The Power will look to end the skid on Wednesday in the finale of the opening homestand of the season.

West Virginia will head out on the road Thursday against Lexington.
