Game 14: Chapmanville cruises past Lincoln, advances to Class AA title game

Chapmanville used a balanced scoring attack to defeat Lincoln and advance to the Class AA state boys basketball championship game.

The Tigers downed the Cougars 57 to 40 Friday at the Charleston Civic Center.

Chapmanville had four players score in double figures – Obinna A.-Killen had 14, Kyle Browning, 13, Drew Williams, 11, and Dylan Smith, 10. Meanwhile, Lincoln was led by Chase Riley, who poured in 19.

The Tigers will play the winner of the Fairmont-Mingo Central game, scheduled for 7:15 p.m. Friday. On Saturday, the Class AA championship game will be played at 2:30 p.m.
