Fairmont State Loses In National Championship

High scoring Fairmont State was shutdown by Northwest Missouri State in Saturdays Division II National Championship 71-61. The Falcons 61 points scored were a season low. They only scored 21 points in the first half which was also a season low. The Bearcats held Fairmont State to only 37 percent shooting as NW Missouri State wins it's first national championship. FSU settles for a program record 34 wins this season and a runner up trophy.
