Marshall loss in rear-view mirror

Marshall (1-1) dropped their second contest of the season on the road to an N.C. State (1-1) team who scored 27 unanswered points to win, Saturday night. In some minds, the Wolfpack were picked to win the Atlantic side of the Atlantic Coast Conference and at times showed why, with Quarterback Ryan Finley finishing 29 for 36 and three touchdowns.

But the strongest effort of the day came from the Thundering Herd's Wide Receiver Tyre Brady who finished with 11 catches and 248 receiving yards with 188 coming in the first half.

Even from the loss, though, Marshall is somewhat upbeat about the loss, but now have their aim focused on a win over Kent State (1-1) at Joan C. Edwards Stadium, next Saturday.
