Fairmont Senior Gets Revenge Against Mingo Central
Mingo Central's title defense came to an end with a thud Saturday afternoon as the Miners lost to Fairmont Senior 35-6 at Buck Harless Stadium. The Polar Bears led 7-0 at halftime but pulled away scoring 28 points within 4:40 at the end of the third quarter and beginning of the fourth quarter. Fairmont Senior's defense got it done against a Miners offense that hadn't been held under 50 points since week two of the regular season.
