Sierra Womack was named the St. Mary’s Medical Center Scholar Athlete of the Week for the Cabell Midland Knights.

The senior plays basketball at Cabell Midland. She also runs cross country and runs sprints and competes in pole vault for the Knights' track team.

Womack also excels in the classroom. She has a 4.2 cumulative grade point average and is taking several honors classes. She said she hopes to be a nurse.

Womack hopes to play basketball in college, but has not selected a school yet.

Tesia Schray was named the St. Mary’s Medical Center Scholar Athlete of the Week for the Huntington Highlanders.

Schray plays soccer for the Highlanders and plans to continue playing at the collegiate level.

She is taking multiple AP and dual credit classes to get a head start on college.

Schray has not selected a school at this time.

Womack and Schray will now be finalists to win the St. Mary's Medical Center Scholar Athlete of the Year.
