Football Scrapbook: Paul Lanham

It's not easy to get from Middle Fork to the National Football League.

Somehow, Paul Lanham found a way. In fact, he says it was a blessing from the Good Lord.

A stellar athlete at both Ripley High and Glenville State College, Lanham dreamed of playing professional baseball. But his career took a turn and he became a teacher and coach.

Ultimately, he wound up in the National Football League for 20 years and enjoyed great success.

Mark Martin visits with Lanham, a Jackson County native, in this edition of Friday Night Football Scrapbook.
