Primary Sport: Soccer
For the first time in school history, the Hurricane Redskins are the state champions in boys soccer, something Ian and Evan miles can say with pride. "It doesn't feel like anything we have achieved before it feels great. We were a team out there we stayed together got some and goals and that was that." Evan said.
Evan struck the first blow in the win over Parkersburg, scoring the first goal en route to a 2-0 win. "I was out the right place at the right time. Felipe thompson had that flick and their team deflected it and i was there, and i did what i needed to do."
The Miles twins having been playing together since the start, and they wouldn't want to end their high school career than with each other. "Its been wonderful. He's my best friend and i love him, and i'm thankful to have a twin." Ian said.
The brothers carry a 3.8 GPA, taking their winning attitude into the classroom. "I just do my work in class, make sure i get it done and hope for the best."
Their days with the Redskins have come to a end, but it was a ride they will never forget. "It feels wonderful. All the hard work we did in the off-season paid off for just this one moment."
