Old man winter altered some area high school basketball tournaments on Friday, including the annual Hoops Classic at the Charleston Civic Center Coliseum.

Three of Friday's scheduled eight games had to be postponed. Only six of the eight slated for Saturday will be played.

Riverside and Wheeling Park were among the winners at the Classic on Friday.

Also, a tournament at Sissonville lost two from its field of four. The host Indians did manage to play their game with Wayne and were easy winners.
