The West Virginia high school football season moves into its seventh week of action on Friday night and Fairmont Senior (Class AAA), Sherman (Class AA) and Man (Class A) head in as the top teams. All three will be putting unbeaten records on the line.
Fairmont Senior plays at Buckhannon-Upshur, Sherman will entertain Shady Spring while Man is home against Chapmanville.
Sherman's football team had a Tuesday assembly featuring coaching legends Don Nehlen and Bobby Pruett.
On the college scene, Bill Stewart and Mark Snyder are gearing up for trips North and South to meet Syracuse and Tulane, respectively.
