Eyewitness News Road Rage April 10, 2014
Route 817, Fraziers Bottom, outside Winfield
Route 817, Fraziers Bottom, Putnam County, West Virginia

The road here has always been a little rough, and I believe people has adapted to that but now the potholes are so bad that they are causing serious problems to people's vehicles. They cover a vast amount of that road. People are swerving to miss them, and a lot of times people will go over to the other side of road to avoid them.

As soon as you turn up Valley Grove Road off of Rutledge Road
Charleston, Kanawha County, West Virginia

There is a deep pothole here that is causing trouble for vehicles but more than that the ditch is full of water and it is actually eating out the side of the road. Pieces of the road have broken off because of the water in the ditch all the time. Vehicles actually stop to let the other vehicles come down the road so they down have to go through the water (and also miss the potholes). This is caused by a poor draining pipes and the fact that is has not been cleaned out in years. I'm really hoping that the DOH sees this and does something about it.
