The Latest Pothole Patrol

July 25, 2014
Linden Tariff Road, Route 25 and Amma Road
Looneyville, Roane County, West Virginia

Potholes are everywhere -- the worst this road has ever been. I had a call in for repairs and he saids it is on the schedule for November. It will be snowing by then. Other roads in county are being paved, and we can't get potholes fixed. Need new supervision.

July 25, 2014
Big Horse Creek Road
Woodville, Lincoln County, West Virginia

So many potholes, looks like air force carpet bombed it.

July 17, 2014
Dry Creek Road, Milton, turn right off of fairgrounds road at Blenko Glass then left through tunnel under railroad, which is Dry Creek Road
Milton, Cabell County, West Virginia

Black top is falling apart with potholes that neighbors have filled with rock since the state DOH will not do anything.Trees are overgrowing the roadway that two cars cannot pass without scratching vehicles, and taller trucks are in the tree limbs overhanging the roadway.

The road also gets blocked with water from the river, and the state DOH will not open the second access road, which it already owns so people are not totally stranded in an emergency if help is needed. People have to walk 1.5 miles on the CSX railroad tracks to be able to go to work. The DOH Barboursville headquarters has been called several times already this spring and summer and no work has been completed.
