Grandmas Bread From LeeAnn Miller You saw it Tuesday, August 1, 2005
IngredientsInstructions Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add and mix oil, sugar, salt and sour cream. Slowly add flour. Take an additional 3/4 cup flour and use on counter to knead your dough. Dough will be slighty sticky, don't worry, as you knead it will become elastic and smooth. Place dough in oiled, deep bowl to rise. Let dough rise in warm area until double in size. Remove from bowl and form into loaves. Place in bread pans or on baking sheet. Allow bread to rise in pans/baking sheet until double in size. Bake at 350°F for 25-35 minutes. When you tap on top if it sounds hollow it is done. Nothin' better than warm bread and fresh jam! More Good Morning West Virginia and Eyewitness News at Noon Recipes
