Christine Habrle: WCHS-TV Eyewitness News

Hello everyone!

I'm excited to be here in West Virginia and to be part of the WCHS team. Most often you'll find me anchoring the weekends and reporting Wed, Th, Fri or filling-in on the desk those days for Deborah. During my career I have earned an EMMY for investigative reporting as well as many other awards for my work. While I love going after bad people and exposing the wrongs in society, my favorite stories are the ones where I get to help make someone's life better.

It's no secret I love the news! If I'm not working on it, I'm reading it or watching it somewhere. But I also have many other interests. Being involved in the community is a big one. As for relaxation... I love the theater and playing outside. Skiing, blading, swimming, rafting or just hanging out in the sun are some of the things you'll find me doing. Oh, I almost forgot the best part. I love to cook! Everything.

Many people like to try and guess my background so I always offer up the challenge. If you're bored and you want to take a shot at it, send me an e-mail and I'll tell you if you're right. I'll give you a hint.. it isn't as obvious as you might think. Good luck!
