This hearty dish is perfect for your table anytime. October 1, 2012
Ingredients
3 cans (12.5 oz. each) chicken or approx. 42 oz., drained 1/2 t. garlic powder 1/2 t. salt 1 onion, chopped 1 can diced green chilies 1 heaping T. canned jalapeno peppers, chopped 2 1/2 c. Monterey Jack cheese Sauce: 2 c. sour cream 3/4 c. salsa 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of celery 1/2 t. garlic powder 1 t. cumin 2 1/2 c. Monterey Jack Cheese Parsley, chopped 11-12 8”-10” Flour tortillas Directions Sprinkle chicken with garlic powder and salt. Add onions, chilies, and 2 ½ cup of cheese. Stir together sour cream, salsa, soups, and spices. Add some sauce to chicken mixture. Cover bottom of pan with sauce. Fill tortillas with chicken, put in pan, top with remaining sauce. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and parsley just before finishing baking. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. *note* this recipe takes 5 cups of cheese. Got Questions?
