Ironton , Lawrence County , Ohio
The Ohio Attorney general announced a lawsuit against a couple who own a business in Kentucky alleging several customers lost thousands of dollars.
Attorney General Mike DeWine said Leo and Carol Richard with a storm-damage repair business in Grayson, Ky., caused about 35 customers to lose more than $171,000. DeWine said the husband and wife failed to perform certain services or did shoddy work out of their business, All Seasons of Kentucky.
DeWine said the couple targeted homeowners in Ironton, Ohio, between December 2012 and April 2013. He said several consumers complained after the business took their money and did little or no work. DeWine said bank records revealed personal car payments and yacht club payments were being made from the All Seasons business account.
The lawsuit was filed in Lawrence County Court of Common Pleas and seeks to stop further violations and obtain restitution for consumers.
