West Virginia State Troopers made a meth arrest following a trailer fire in Kanawha County.
Jacquelyn McClanahan has been charged with attempting to operate a meth lab, conspiracy and purchase of precursors to make meth.
Troopers say McClanahan and three men were living in the trailer that caught on Fire on Smith Creek Road near South Charleston Monday afternoon. The trailer was a complete loss. While on scene of the fire, investigators say they saw a trail into the woods and beside a burn pile, they found a duffel bag filled with items to make meth.
Arrest warrants have been issued for Rodney Eads and Joey Eads who were also living in the home.
Three fire departments responded to a blaze in the South Charleston area Monday afternoon that was extinguished in about 40 minutes, Metro 911 said.
The fire was reported about 2:05 p.m. in the 220 block of Smith Creek Road, dispatchers said.
No injuries were reported.
The Jefferson, Lakewood and Tornado volunteer fire departments responded.
A fully involved fire was reported Monday afternoon in the Jefferson/South Charleston area in Kanawha County, Metro 911 said.
The fire was reported about 2:10 p.m. at 2291 Smith Creek Road, 911 said.
The road is located off Lincoln Drive off Kanawha Turnpike. It was unclear if there were any injuries.
