A Sissonville man was arrested on sexual abuse charges after deputies said he allegedly groped several two juveniles.
Philip Gabriel Nunley, 33, was charged Sunday with three counts of sexual abuse, according to a criminal complaint filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court.
A deputy responded to Pine Valley Drive in the Sissonville area after a report that two juveniles had reported being touched by an adult male while out in the trailer park. The mother of one of the victims said the boys told her neighbor that they were groped by a man in his 20s with long, bright blond hair worn in a mullet-style haircut, the complaint said.
The two boys said the incidents occurred during and after they were searching for a missing juvenile. One of the boys said he was groped by a man who came outside to help with the search. The second juvenile said after the missing juvenile was located, he began knocking on doors to let neighbors know the missing juvenile had been located and the same man left his trailer and groped the second juvenile.
The complaint said one of the neighbors took the deputy to where he had observed the man and located a suspect who fit the description. Nunley identified himself and claimed he grabbed both of the boys’ legs. The deputy said both boys confirmed that Nunley is the one who groped them.
