The Athens Police Department is looking for a suspect who robbed a bank with a gun and got away with cash.
Police said the JP Morgan Chase Bank on East State St. in Athens was robbed at 2:50 p.m. Monday. The suspect was a white man who showed what appeared to be a silver semi-automatic pistol, police said. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call the Athens Police Department at 740-592-3313.
