Cabell County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested William Spencer Farley, 25, in connection with a bank robbery that happened early Friday afternoon.
Deputies said after releasing surveillance photos of the suspect, they got multiple calls about his identity.
Farley was arrested a short while later and deputies said they recovered a gun and part of what was stolen from the bank.
Farley was charged with armed robbery.
Sheriff Tom McComas said the public's participation in sharing the photo on social media and calling to identify him helped tremendously with their investigation.
Police said Friday that they have caught a suspect in the robbery of a bank between Barboursville and Huntington.
The suspect has been taken to the Cabell County Courthouse.
Deputies are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery at a bank between Huntington and Barboursville Friday.
The City National Bank on Route 60 in Huntington was robbed about 1 p.m. on Friday, Cabell County deputies said. A man armed with a gun demanded cash then fled towards the 5600 block of Route 60, in the West Pea Ridge area, deputies said.
Detectives are investigating. Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call 911.
