A Doraville, Ga., man was arrested after he allegedly tried to have a package full of marijuana delivered to Raleigh County through the U.S. mail, deputies said.
Edward Pannell is charged with possession with intent to deliver.
Detectives said they received a tip from the Charleston Metro Drug Task Force that a package containing drugs was being shipped through the mail to the Prosperity area.
Detectives said they were able to get the package, which contained 14 bags of marijuana, worth $50,000.
