A Huntington man was sentenced in Lawrence County, Ohio, for a driving under the influence accident that severely injured his daughter.
William Meadows, 27, was sentenced to seven years in prison and a fine of $1,750 in Lawrence County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday. Meadows pleaded no contest last week to charges of second-degree aggravated vehicular assault, fifth-degree possession of drugs and driving under the influence.
In November, prosecutors said Meadows wrecked his car into a tree in Lawrence County on County Road 58, severely injuring his 4-year-old daughter.
