Kanawha County emergency officials have issued a warning not to burn anything outdoors until weather conditions improve.
A Red Flag Warning was issued Wednesday by the county.
Conditions are fairly dry and windy, which increases the likelihood that an outdoor fire could quickly spread.
Violators could be fined for starting a fire that gets out of control.
