A prisoner being held in the Meigs County Jail was found deceased Wednesday morning.
The Meigs County coroner and and the Ohio Attorney Generals Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation are assisting Meigs County Sheriff Keith Woods in investigating the death, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
No further information is being released by the sheriff's office at this time.
