Eyewitness News has learned the names of the suspects who were arrested after State Police said they discovered meth-making materials in separate homes in Jefferson.
Larry Jarrett was arrested Wednesday when meth-making materials were found at a home on Hampshire Drive in Jefferson off Route 60, State Police said. Meanwhile, State Police said Kelcil Carpenter was arrested at a trailer about a mile down the road where meth-making materials also were found.
Both men were arraigned in Kanawha County Magistrate Court with bond set at $50,000 cash.
State Police said methamphetamine-making materials were found in separate homes Wednesday in Jefferson in Kanawha County.
Two men were arrested after State Police made the discoveries at the residences on Hampshire Drive off Route 60.
State Police said an unrelated investigation in Putnam County led them to the first home where they found meth-making materials and made one arrest.
Information during the investigation of that first home led them to a trailer one mile down the road where meth-making materials were found, and one man was arrested at that residence, State Police said.
State Police have made a methamphetamine bust in Jefferson in Kanawha County.
Two people were arrested about 11 a.m. Wednesday, State Police said.
The arrests were made on Hampshire Drive.
