Two men have been arrested in connection with a bank robbery in Scioto County, Ohio, on Thursday.

Todd M. Williams, 33, and Paul Charles, 40, both of Portsmouth, were arrested. Williams was charged with robbery, and Charles was charged with complicity to robbery.

On Thursday, the Scioto County Sheriff's Department received a call about a robbery of the U.S. Bank in Wheelersburg, according to a news release from the department.

Scioto County detectives were able to trace information about the suspected vehicle in the robbery to a location on Washington Boulevard in West Portsmouth, the news release said. Detectives arrested Williams on Sunday. While investigating an alleged probation violation involving Charles on Friday, detectives determined that he was the getaway driver during the robbery, the sheriff's department said.

Williams was being held at the Scioto County Jail with bond set at $75,000. Charles was being held in the jail without bond.

Scioto County deputies are still searching for a man they say robbed the U.S. Bank in Wheelersburg on Thursday afternoon.

Deputies said it didn't look like the suspect had a weapon, but he did get away with some cash.

Witnesses described the robber as a white man wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, and a white mask over his face.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
