Residents were getting ready for Easter at Edgewood Summit in Charleston on Thursday
The annual Stuffing of the Easter Eggs event got underway, as residents of the retirement home worked hard putting candy and other goodies into over 10,000 plastic eggs. Edgewood Summit has been hosting the event and other community service projects for several years now.
"It gives a feeling that we are doing a volunteer job, even though we can't get out into the city to do one," said Edgewood Summit resident Evelyn Borio.
The Charleston Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, March 30 at Magic Island.
