The Huntington Area Food Bank hosted a fresh produce giveaway at their warehouse Thursday.
The food bank gave away thousands of pounds of produce to needy families across Wayne and Cabell counties.
While the food bank is always grateful for any food donations, they said produce is the most valuable.
This was the first of two produce giveaways. The food was provided by Conrad Produce.
