A former employee has been charged with embezzling more than $37,000 from the Northern Wayne Public Service District.
Media outlets report that a federal grand jury indicted Tiffani Michelle Petry, 28, on 22 embezzlement counts on Wednesday.
Petry is accused of embezzling the money between July 2011 and July 2012. She is scheduled to stand trial in May.
