A Floyd County, Ky., murder suspect was released from the hospital and into jail custody. Ronald Wright, 64, of Printer was charged by Kentucky State Police Tuesday with the murder of Famer Halbert and the attempted murder of his wife, Lorene Halbert. Wright was allegedly shot during the incident and was recovering at Cabell Huntington Hospital, troopers said. Wright was released from the hospital Thursday night and was taken to the Western Regional Jail where he was being held on a fugitive from justice warrant, jail officials said. Wright's wife, Loretta, was arrested and charged with complicity to murder on Tuesday. One man was killed and two people injured after a shooting in Floyd County, Ky. Loretta Wright, 50, of Printer was charged with complicity to murder on Tuesday. Ronald Wright, Loretta's husband, is being treated in a Huntington hospital from a gunshot wound and will face charges of murder and attempted murder, according to a news release from Kentucky State Police. Troopers were investigating a shooting at a home in the McDowell area on Tuesday. Famer Halbert, 54, was pronounced dead and his wife, Lorene, 50, was treated for a single gunshot wound. Detectives said the Wrights allegedly entered a home and shot Halbert, according to a criminal complaint filed at the Floyd County District Court. The victim's wife heard the shot and was confronted by the suspects, the complaint said. Detectives said the victim said she was shot by the husband and there was a struggle. During the struggle, the man was shot and the two suspects fled, the complaint said. Loretta Wright was being held at the Floyd County Detention Center. MORE NEWS FROM EYEWITNESS NEWS
