A missing 10-year-old boy was found safe and unharmed Monday night.
Ethan Begovich's mother first reported him missing around 6:30 p.m. on Monday. They told deputies he was last seen getting off of the school bus in the West Washington Street area. The boy is a student at Cross Lanes Elementary.
They said they had waited to call police because they were searching on their own.
Deputies, along with the Dunbar Fire Department set up a command center at Wine Cellar Park to search for the boy.
Deputies say just before 11:00 p.m., Metro 911 received a call that the boy was safe at a home along West Washington Street. Apparently, the adults had seen the story on the news, and called to report that he was with him.
Deputies are investigating to see if the case warrants any charges.
