Friends and family in Putnam County came together Saturday night to remember a life cut short by drunk driving.
They gathered in Poca to remember 22-year-old Heather Brooks. She was killed after the car she was in flipped along Poca River Road one year ago.
The driver, Caleb Beckner, was arrested and charged with aggravated DUI and DUI causing death.
Family and friends walked along the road where the accident happened, and then lit candles at the spot of the crash to remember Brooks.
