We spring forward Saturday night, and that means we lose an hour of sleep, but gain an hour of daylight.
Firefighters also want to remind you it’s a good time to change the batteries in your smoke detectors. They said as you go around your home, changing your clocks, to also take care of your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
There have been several fatal fires in West Virginia this year, and in many of them, firefighters said smoke detectors could have saved lives.
