The Boyd County Sheriff's Department arrested one person after an undercover drug investigation.
Michael S. Harvey, 60, of Waterloo, Ohio, was charged with two counts of trafficking on Friday. Detectives with the Boyd County Drug Task Force made an undercover drug buy for prescription pills at a fast food parking lot, according to a news release from the sheriff's department. Detectives said an informant purchased 50 Xanax bars and 13 Hydrocodone pills from the suspect. Deputies said they searched the suspect's vehicle and found a large amount of Hydrocodone pills and cash.
Harvey was being held at the Boyd County Detention Center.
